Xavier Alvarez Ruling a Disgrace to All US Military Personnel!
By Kevin A. Lehmann on in Kevin's Commentary, Politics, US Military
What in the hell is wrong with our system of justice in this country?
Yesterday a panel on the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2 to 1 in favor of Xavier Alvarez, citing that people have a right to lie about receiving military medals including the distinguished Medal of Honor. What a disgrace to any man or woman who has ever legitimately worn a United States military uniform! Whack jobs like Xavier Alvarez and other imposters who willingly deceive the general public into believing they are military veterans, much less Medal of Honor winners, should be made to spend a year with Al-Qaeda operatives in the chicken coops at Gitmo Bay.
Those two judges might as well have walked up to the families of recent and legitimate recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor: Jason L. Dunham, Ross A. McGinnis, Michael A. Monsoor, and Paul R. Smith, and spit in their faces. Why even have the 2005 Stolen Valor Act?
What an embarrassing travesty of justice!
My heartfelt apologies go out to legitimate recipients and to the families of all Medal of Honor winners, as well as every single, solitary man and woman who has ever donned a United States military uniform.
This takes narcissism to a new and unimaginable level. What’s next for imposters the likes of Xavier Alvarez, who by the way just so happened to be a public official in Ponoma, California? Should we give them their own reality show and shower them with accolades and millions of dollars to entertain us with their fraudulent lives?
I have an idea, let’s pair them up with Richard Blumenthal (Attorney General of Connecticut) who’s running for the Senate and repeatedly lied about serving in Vietnam, not serving during the Vietnamese conflict, but in it! And to think that that yoyo is still in the race . . . give me a break.
I don’t know about you, but this makes me sick to my stomach. Excuse my French but, What a Fucking Joke!
Our constitution, and especially our rule of law has become the laughing stock of the rest of the world. What in the hell is happening in the Unites States of America?
If this disgusts you as much as it does me, leave a comment and make your feelings known.
Pathetically Patriotic,
Kevin A. Lehmann

And your point? I mean, you didn’t have a point to make. All you did was rant. Now the matter is before the Supremes and they are charged with deciding a very interesting issue. p.s. I can’t believe the number of medals ol’ Xavier awarded himself. And I bet they are not in the proper order.

I wonder how many of the chest pieces he bought from a Chinese knock-off web site! The 9th is the pathetic group of our country and that’s why people like this jackass live within the 9th’s borders. Birds of a feather live and shit in the same place!

Careful Kevin! You are stepping on to a very slippery slope, even as disgusting as this behavior is, there still is such a thing as free speech in this country. Even for sorry lying bastards, in most cases.

This guy got a year probabtion for doing the same thing and never profited from his fraud:

The problem with Xavier Alvarez is that he actually PROFITED from his lies, and this is an outrageous fraud. No different than writing fake checks. And worse still, he used those lies to affect the outcome of an election. This is election fraud. It’s really no different than stuffing a ballot box. I think that he could still face that charge and be prosecuted, which would be the only appropriate course of action in this case. He needs to go to prison for a VERY long time !!!
If he wants to lie or impersonate a military official in the privacy of his own home that’s fine. But when he does it to get hired or promoted, or for personal gain through deliberate fraud, or maybe to gain access to military bases and secure facilities, and especially to get elected … this MUST be prosecuted !!

Interestingly, this case is being argued before the US Supreme Court today. Justice Sonia Sotomayor is the most polarized IN FAVOR of allowing this man to lie. Note that his lies were an integral component of his successful attempts to commit election fraud.
It amazes me how the radical left can defend this guy, but they are the same ones who claim that GW Bush “stole” the election from Gore in Florida when we had the “dangling chads”.
Justice Sotomayor really seems to me like she is a brazen racist.
If Im not mistaken, I think that Sotomayor got the Medal of Honor as well, for risking her life to save puppies from carpet bombs in Iraq, after her helicopter was shot down 16 times by the same guy, and Im sure that she too was a US Marine, and has a hundred medals. She was the first man on the moon. Im sure of it.

They should have sent him to a prison full of military veterans who have earned all those medals this creep has on his uniform.
Many online websites that sell these medals will not issue the Medal of Honor and other higher medals without proof the recipient earned it. I’m glad they do that.
I also agree with a previous poster about the medals being in the wrong order. If I recall correctly, when there are too many ribbons usually some of the lesser ones are excluded. This guy doesn’t have enough chest space to pin on all of his stolen valor.
What an embarrassment this man is to the military as well as the human race.

Any poser is a disgusting P.O.S. How insecure about themselves do they need to be to commit an act of this nature. Freedom of speech??? Are you fricking kidding me??? Make them actually go earn those medals they are wearing.

I’ll bet that oversized mustache is a fake too. It’s too bad he didn’t get a stiffer punishment. However, his name is s*** after this so who would want to hire him.

At no time in American history has an individual “won” the Medal of Honor. All awardees, both active duty and posthumous recipient (next of kin), were presented each award by The President of The United States after specific consideration in accordance with military regulations by the recipient’s Chain of Command, and/or the United States Congress, respectively. In fact, since the establishment of the Medal of Honor, the vast majority of recipients were presented to the next of kin of the Service Member due to the fact that the Service Member died in service to his/her country.
