How the US Government Will Exploit the Aurora, Colorado Tragedy to Attack the Second Amendment and Ink the U.N. Small Arms Treaty on Gun Control
It never ceases to amaze me that with every mass shooting, i.e. Columbine, Virginia Tech, Fort Hood, Tucson and now in Aurora, Colorado, that the conspiracy theories invariably make their rounds.
Although I agree with Alex Jones that the timing of these tragedies are a little uncanny, I think it’s a stretch to claim that our very own federal government would go so far as to plan and condone the mass killing of innocent Americans just to pass gun control legislation.
Eric Holder and company have proven to be the most incompetent DOJ of any presidential administration in the history of the United States — which is precisely why I don’t think they’re behind these massacres. Those imbeciles are just not smart enough to pull off such a sophisticated “Manchurian Candidate” type conspiracy.
By the same token, given the culture of violence we live in today, I disagree with the celebrity shrinks who claim that we can profile crackpots like James Holmes by recognizing certain behavior patterns and preempt future mass murdering sprees.
If that were the case, myself and a lot of other Americans would fit the profile and be planning our own mass shooting rampage. After all, I used to be rich and had to file bankruptcy; I’m angry at our statist government; I loathe Radical Islam; I am fairly reclusive; I feel depressed that Barack Obama occupies the White House; I rant against organized religion; I can’t stand liberalism; my stepmother refuses to give me one personal item of my deceased father; my neighbor is a perverted eavesdropping slime ball; I own a cache of weapons; I have a boatload of ammunition and I’m ready to defend myself against criminals and more importantly — an impending tyrannical government.
Uh Oh, you better Baker Act me!
If nothing else, this latest mass murdering spree coupled with the fact that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are going to sign over our safety and sovereignty to the U.N. next week and officially begin their assault on the Constitution, the Second Amendment and the American people, underscores the urgency with which every American citizen should act in defending their freedom and protecting their family — by securing a weapon, preferably a semi-automatic or fully automatic rifle.
Why semi-automatic and automatic weapons . . .
Because of the occasional street thug or home-invasion robber?
No, to defend ourselves against a progressively utopian government that will exploit such massacres in a clandestine effort to deceive and disarm an unsuspecting and naively passive population that cries for better protection.
Fear is the perfect fuel.
Random acts of violence by nut cases like Holmes, Hasan, and Loughner are exploited by a utopian government to sell a gullible citizenry on reforming and improving the general welfare of the American people while it furtively grows in power and strength.
Alexis de Tocqueville, the French political thinker and historian said it best in Democracy in America when he wrote:
“By this system the people shake off their state of dependence just long enough to select their master and then relapse into it again. A great many persons are quite contented with this sort of compromise between administrative despotism and the sovereignty of the people; and they think they have done enough for the protection of individual freedom when they have surrendered it to the power of the nation at large . . .”
If Uncle Sam wants to ban assault weapons — that’s fine.
What’s good for the goose is good for the gander!
If you want to ban law-abiding American citizens from owning assault weapons, then you need to likewise ban those same assault weapons from governmental law enforcement agencies and officers.
After all, as Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 B.C.) Roman Statesman and Philosopher aptly stated:
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”
If you want to thwart random acts of violence and mass murdering sprees in this country, more rules and restrictions in an already burgeoning regulatory environment is not the answer.
Punishing law-abiding Americans and stripping them of their God-given right to defend their life and property by whatever means and caliber necessary is not the answer.
Putting gun manufacturers out of business won’t do it either. Buying an AK-47 on the black market is easier than buying Demerol.
As the old adage goes . . . Guns don’t kill people; people kill people.
If those in power were truly concerned about random acts of violence and preempting spontaneous fits of rage, they would focus on cleaning up our culture of corruption as well as our culture of killing.
Target the drug companies and the pill mills that are turning Americans into addicted zombies who are incapable of feeling any kind of human emotion . . .
Clamp down on the video game manufacturers who brainwash our children into thinking that heinous murders are not only a normal way of life, but a badge of honor . . .
Ban hockey players from being allowed to beat each others brains into a coma . . .
Make it a mandatory one year stay in a juvenile detention center for school bullies . . .
And stop giving free license to T.V. and movie producers who glorify murder and portray it as something that’s just as natural as a bowel movement.
Sadly, those suggestions will fall on deaf ears and it will be the innocent law-abiding American citizen who — in a twist of irony — will ultimately be penalized and stripped of his or her right to bear whatever arms necessary to defend life and liberty by the very body of politic that claims to protect us — our ever vigilant Federal Government. God help us.
Until next time . . . Wake Up America!
