25. If a previous president had created the position of 45 Czars who reported directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate and usurping the Constitution, would you have approved?

26. If a previous president had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

27. If a previous president had spent nearly $2 million dollars hiding his identity all the way back to his childhood, would you have been suspicious?

28. If a previous president had been raised a Muslim, spent more time living abroad in Islamic countries than he did in the United States, hung out with terrorists, and attended a hate church for 20 years, would you have thought him brainwashed?

29. If a previous president had received a Nobel Peace Prize for nothing more than out campaigning his competitors, would you have thought him the laughing stock of recipients?

30. If a previous president had been responsible for an illegal federal gun running operation that resulted in American firearms winding up in the hands of foreign drug cartels who in turn used them to murder innocent Americans, would he have not had blood on his hands and been forced to resign?

31. If a previous president had released a fraudulent long form birth certificate and was factually proven ineligible to be the president whether he was born on American soil or not (father had dual citizenship Kenya/Britain) would you have not demanded impeachment?

In summary, when you ask Obama to “Barack Your World,” refer to this list and try not to hurl.

Until next time . . . Wake Up America!

Everyone Obama has appointed belongs to any one, all or a combination of these groups; Bildeberger Group, Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations. These are the groups who are running the world’s economy, They are the wealthiest people or answer to the wealthiest people on the planet and they pulled the strings to get Obama elected. He is their puppet and he has done the opposite of everything he promised during his campaign. Obama answers to these people first and foremost, why do you think he has such a careless and reckless attitude towards the future of America and “We The People”. JFK was our last REAL President. Watch “The Obama Deception” on YouTube and it explains what’s happening to our economy and way of life.

A lot of those questions come from an assumed point of view.

    For example:
I wouldn’t find it hard to imagine many supporters of Obama saying they would support any President having the power to remove any CEO from their position. This could be because they view it as a power the President should have and view the Constitution as a contemptible document drafted by “old, white, men” (lets ignore the ageist, racist, and sexist connotations of their language since they always do). It could be because they see no further than the powers their man (whomever the D in office is) can and will exercise. However mostly I view it as most supporters of Obama have one set of values they judge those they consider like them by and another by which they judge those they consider dislike them. And they see absolutely nothing wrong or illogical in this arrangement nor would it bother them if they understood it as illogical.

I love this, I’m going to copy and email to all my friends and maybe some liberals too!

Sean, almost every person who has run for the office of President in the last 40 or 50 years is a member of the Tri-Lat and the CFR, both Presidents’ Bush, and President Clinton were members and many who served on their cabinets were also. They are all globalist, some just hide it better than others. I think Reagan is the only President who was not a member. They ALL belong to the same club, they just play for different teams. You can search for “Shadow Government of the United States and the Decline of America” very interesting and eye-opening about who runs this country, like the CFR, Bilderburg, and Tri-Lat.

I don’t think I have ever been so afraid for my children and grandchildren’s futures as I have been since this narcissitic, Muslim loving man became President. Thank God I can truthfully say I didn’t vote for him, have only met one man who will even admit to having voted for him, but have met people who said they voted for him but would never do so again. If I wasn’t a Christian, I would literally be in despair over this. Hopefully, God will have mercy on us and give us leaders who love this country and want to do right by its people.

As a non-American (and thus having a totally objective view-point) it’s amazing how strong the hate-campaign is against the current president when from a global perspective he is a million times more competent than the brainless and positively embarrassing thug who came before him. The last president managed to turn the USA into the most hated nation on the planet and left a broken country in his wake. How is it that a lot of what the current president inherited (namely the screwed economy) is firmly placed on his shoulders alone?! The rest of the world laughs at the idiocy of the zealots voicing their hate for Obama while clutching at straws for what is a thinly-veiled excuse for blatant racism.

You all are funny..when you are fearful of leadership that attempts to employ fairness and actual help for all you run rampid an wild like feral animals spreading allegations as facts. Its a FACT that presidents past got us into this mess and its a FACT that liberals and republicans do not like to reach across the aisle..since when did liberals and republicans have anything in common? Oh yeah, when a man few skin tones darker then they ever would have prayed for took office. HAHA..where where u when Bush Jr was up for re election after all the havoc he caused and the war, the lack of relief for Katrina? Things like that..the lies? I say get off your hatred wagon and start talking about the fact that we all should realize that the world does not revolved around our single lives. We need to start thinking about everyone in its entirety. This money that you are all worried about losing is just a smoke screen for whats really wrong in our country..hate and selfishness. Our money really has no value and it never did. Bartering is what this country has been doing for centuries and what a lot of the “financially secure” people do to this day thats why they are able to save that precious cash and be rich. Dont believe the hype..open your eyes and open your minds..open your hearts and stop trying to put fear in everyone elses. WE as a country gave this man..regardless of color…CRAP to deal with and in most of our selfish and unrealistic eyes actually assumed that there would be this HUGE turnaround for what decades of poor decision making has caused. Thats lunacy in my opinion so WAKE UP..the next 30 presidents wont be able to get us that much closer to restoring our status in the world then where we are today. Give this man a chance to make small steps and help pave the way for the next. Get off your high horses and get over yourselves. Its so easy to find faults with people isnt it?? Well look in the mirror because if you start there and you are honest with what you see you will most likely not have the time to pick someone else apart for being human and TRYING to help change our lives. Thanks.

our economy and way of life was screwed decades before Obama was elected. Why is everyone just waking up to this fact now? Everyone is always someones puppet. Unfortunately thats the way we as a society have drawn things out to be. True individuals do not exist anymore..thats a fact. And those that do get laughed at or called radicals for their opinions on whats really going on. Bottom line is that we believe what we want to believe..the medias job is to feed us crap and cover up whats really going on because if we really knew of some of the things going on and how careless our government truly is about us then we would lose our minds. Most people cant handle the truth and so they say its healthiest to feed them little truths and big fantasies. Stop blaming Obama for what has been going on for centuries. Its just not right. We feed lies to our children to make them smile we feed lies to ourselves to help us go on another day..the truth hurts and everyone knows it so they avoid it as much as possible. Does the fact that we agreed as a society to get by on bull crap really rest on the shoulders of our current President? I think not..it rests on our shoulders as a society for allowing things to go on that are not right and for being passive hoping that someone would come along and wave a magic wand and make it okay. Nothing has gotten better in our country with time and I mean NOTHING. Everything has gotten progressively worse. THATS Truth. You tube it all..Youtube HAARP..see how they are controlling our weather…see how our government is practicing population control. There is some real TRUTH for you. See how they are already set up to go for 2012 and have been for about 18 years or so and see how they really feel about us.. This does not rest on OBAMAS hands…this crap rests on us as citizens and our foolishness to let any old smoke screen suffice temporarily. Wake Up People. Please.

The only thing that worries me more than Barack Obama, and the potential he has to run the USA into the ground for another 6 years is the FACT that there are possibly enough IDIOTS in this country who would actually want him there.

Far too many people could care less about facts such as deficit spending, illegal activities, clueless foreign policy or unintentional slaps in the face at our own country and it’s allies. These same people simply want a politician who sounds and looks “Presidential”, who hands out entitlements without regard to consequences and who will keep class warfare alive.

This country is in trouble, not because Barack Obama is President. It’s in trouble because there are far too many people who love what he offers.

What is all of this? You obviously don’t watch any network news or read any newspapers. I jest of course.

How could any one man make so many gaffs and yet, Sarah Palin and other conservatives are referred to like they are idiots. And we wonder how Obama and Biden make it through their day without being laughed (or tossed) out of the white house.

If you go back through recent history… any good conservative is treated like an IDIOT by the press, and the RINOs are always treated as if they’re the best possible Republican candidate, whether it’s John McCain, Bob Dole, and now flip flopper Mitt Romney.

I for one am rooting on Herman Cain and Michelle Bachmann in 2012!

chris, most of these examples are out of the mans mouth and can be found on you tube. go there and watch the obama deception, and search obama lies and watch the videos of him speaking. That way you dont have to take someone elses word for it. Obama has been telling us for years that he is a liar. Some people just havent been listening.

Wow! Half of these “facts” if not more were a direct result of the republican parties policies and implementations, the rest of them are just childish rants that really don’t have any bearing on the state of the country and are quite embarressing to the writer’s integrity. And with all this can you imagine the state we would be in if the Maverick was running the show!

“Public knowledge”??? So now when enough idiots scream something it becomes “public knowledge” and no longer needs verification for us to accept it as gospel truth? I could say so much about that, but no intelligent person would require it and everyone else is simply too stupid to understand, no matter what I say. I hope to God you never serve on a jury, if that’s your standard definition of proof.

Aithough I DID vote for him, I can honestly say that I have NEVER been more disappointed in a president than I am right now! I may not support those right-wing republicans, but I sure do NOT support OBAMA now. I didn’t need to read the list to know that he lied to the voters, as well as doing the exact opposite of what he promised during his campaign. If you watch certain news channels, they are either all FOR or all AGAINST his actions, depending on the channel. When he won the Nobel Peace Prize, I was in SHOCK. He hasn’t done anything that even REMOTELY qualifies him for this prestigious award! If it were soley up to me, he would’ve been impeached about 18 months ago. I won’t get into who I DO support here, but he would, in my opnion, be a very good president if he were elected. As for the dumb-ass in office now, I can’t wait til he’s finally GONE!!!

Public knowledge? We all think we know what happened to Caylee Anthony, but he mother was found Not Guilty ayway. Obama hasn’t been given a fair chance. people who are supposedly educated and wise to the ways of th eworld expected all the country’s ills to be fixed the day after he took office. In the meantime, if he had come up with a cure for cancer and enabled world peace, republicans would have found fault. Birth certificate? How does one know it’s fraudulent? My home state doesn’t have a ‘long form birth certificate.’ Has another President been harangued into having to ‘prove his citizenship?’ My niece was the product of an American soldier and a German woman. She was born in Germany, but was an American citizen by birth. Chrich? I haven’t seen one church that I agree with all their teachings. Granted, the pastor at Obama’s church was more than a bit radical. But I can’t hate the Obamas because of the messenger. Deficit? When Bush took ove rfrom Clinton, there was a four billion dollar surplus. That was no where near a century ago. In less thah six months, Bush had managed to spend all the surplus and open the doors to a bottomless deficit. There are lots more points I’d love to argue, but it’s late. Until people quit voting just for the party and not paying attention to the candidates, we’re going to have problems such as this. For my part, the republican and democratic parties should be dissolved.

Obama as of 2010 has raised the National Debt by 9%. In comparision Reagan’s first term as president increased the National debt by 11.3% and 9.3% on his second term. George Bush increased it by 13%. Clinton reduced the debt by .7% his first term and 9% his second term. George W. Bush increased the debt by 7.1% his first term and then 20.7% his second term. Bush inflated the Gross National Debt by the biggest percentage increase since the 1940′s. Open your eyes about who put us here. These are great facts, but in Obama’s own eyes, he has succeeded in doing everything he set out to do.

    Fail the country

Get everyone on the “dole” so that more than 50% are on the Govt take, this increases his voter base, while doing everything he can to make this part of “One world order”, all the while thinking he will be King of the world.

He cares about NO ONE except himself and his cronies.

What is so F’ing funny is the fact that all the people backing him think they will be a part of the “End game”

    Part of his kingdom.

Once he is finished using all of them, they will be discarded like simple trash.

And it will be all their fault. I will never stop laughing at all those idiots, who cant make it on their own, thus simply trying to get more handouts.

Do any of these morons who dont think the free market is good, where does all of the money come from to pay for them sitting on their “Asses” collecting govt handouts?

I am neither a left extremist nor right extremist, but when I read things such as this (regardless if its from the left or right) it saddeneds me to see how uneducated people really are, extremists who read this then post about conspiracies, or use a reply such as “it’s public knowledge” are a great example of what I am discussing. Extremists use propaganda such as this without discussing any true facts, and as a reply to the first couple of trivial questions, G.W doubled the deficit in only 8 years, sent soldiers (such as myself) to a war that was underfunded because we wanted the wealthy to have a tax break, go take a few political science and economics classes people.

I can’t believe how stubborn and narrow-minded the people in my generation are. It’s as if I’m trying to have a political conversation with a four month old kid! If they say that Obummer is doing a “great job”, they obviously aren’t watching the current happenings enough or even bothering to watch them at all. Obummer’s supporters have no common sense at all because they believed everything Obummer promised would work, which it didn’t.I mean, the Feds pay for your gas you put into your car? Really?! Would that EVER work?!?! Not for very long!
I pray that the American people do not make the same irresponsible mistake in 2012 like what they did in 2008. If the American people make the same grave mistake, I’m afraid America is doomed as we know it.

Allegations!!! What a joke. Really Chris Allegations?

I read everyone of those facts and could remember every one of them taking place over the last 2 1/2 years. Even though I am a conservative I was optimistic at first and had hoped this President would do all the things that he promised to do when he took office.

I lost my job a couple of weeks before he was elected and I needed him to succeed but as we all have witnessed everything this administration has tried has failed miserably.

With the exception of 15 weeks of work out of the last 32 months I am still unemployed. I have been able to follow this administration in action more than I have ever followed any President and I have to say that its been one failure after another.

Americans need to wake up to the con job we were sold 2 1/2 years ago. I cant imagine 4 more years of failure and quite frankly, embarrassment by this entire group of clowns that roam the White House.

Americans need to remember this and think twice about who gets to be the leader of the free world. First you need a LEADER not a Freshman Senator who has no experience in leading.

Though some of these are not foregone facts as the title of the piece claims and others are simply petty (just as they were with GW), I must admit that there are a few that raise my ire.

But then I think about all of the conservative people out there getting all pissed-off about these transgressions (with a little help from authors like you) and I ask them (and you) the very same question. Why weren’t you upset when Republican Presidents did all of this type of stuff or something equally ridiculous and offensive just as often? Think about that the next time you go to the polls to rubber stamp the GOP.

But no one really cares to answer either question, yours or mine, because the real reason is that none of this stuff on your list actually matters, beyond a few big policy moves that have gone wrong. Both sides are a mirror reflection of corporate greed and disconnection from the daily existence of real human beings.

The only issue that counts when we vote for President is who they put on the Supreme Court, which directly affects every aspect of our lives. The GOP fills the bench with those that promote corporate power at the expense of democracy. The Democrats fill the bench with those who promote the power of the individual, which strengthens our democracy. That is why, and the only reason why, I will still support Obama come 2012.

That’s why he can get away with all of the above. Well that and the fact that we’re collectively too stubborn to admit we royally screwed up, and don’t want to remove the first minority elected into this office yet.

I think that’s kind of rude to just say “how about public knowledge” In reality if someone came along this list with no political knowledge they would more than likely see this as a hateful rant seeing as there are no sources cited on any of the “allegations”. I’m not trying to dispute anything… more trying to get you to provide validation to what your saying. Don’t immediately jump on the defensive. He could have merely wanted to look deeper into things then what you said about them.

While I agree with much of this, I will point out that many Presidents have done stupid things. George W. Bush did a huge amount of damage, starting the war in Iraq (when it should have been Afganistan), running up huge debts, and saying some really stupid things in other countries. Next, I’d like to know the source for claims about the birth certificate. I have a hard time with this, as so many people within Hawaii have said the certificate is authentic.

That is digraceful that nothing is done to a law breaker. He Ignores the Constitution and Congress and is Writting Executive Orders like a crazed Printer. It will take a LONG time to fix this mess after obama is gone and that is the one thing I am greatful for, is that no matter what happens, he will eventually be gone.

Let me be the first to say that am by no means a huge fan of Obama, but I do cringe at what would have been the alternative. Public Knowledge huh? It is real easy just to regurgitate Republican sound bites that you may have heard on various conservative leaning media outlets (e.g. Faux News). Furthermore, I have no doubt that some of these are true at least to small extent. However, if you cannot provide legitimate sources from objective outlets, you are just engaging in irresponsible journalism perpetuating myths and half truths. First I agree with most of the list, but number 11 I have to comment on. Since the 60′s every president has had a teleprompter at his disposal for all functions including press conferences. My opinion is because they don’t want to have the image of the press secretary constantly whispering in their ear like a lawyer in an OJ trial. Also I agree in this case it is so the puppeteers can pull the correct strings but I don’t think they are smarter as you said. This president (yes I refuse to capitalize the word) is every bit as inept and fraudulent as any over the past 100 years. When our presidents started becoming “celebrities” things only got worse, and I don’t mean actors becoming prez I mean we treat them the same way we do actors and the money and exposure became as important as the power to go for the job. How much has Bill Clinton made just off of book deals and appearance fees since leaving office? I think they should be restricted the same way those on unemployment are. If they make more than the weekly benefit amount they don’t get paid. Period! This should also go for the continuing cost of the taxpayer funded secret service details, which they can more than afford to pay for themselves and with private security firms which would stimulate the economy. The money spent over the past 30 years on all campaigns failed or not is a staggering amount! From the actual campaign funds to taxpayer funded security details. What a dent this money could have put in the current National Debt. These men and women from all congress all the way up to the top spot make me sick. I would give anything for a portion of the money and benefits they receive after office. What fear and accountability do they have for the decisions they make that affect all our lives for better or worse (usually the latter)? This list goes for every President and Elected Fed over the past half century. You speak of impeachment a couple times and it is the cry of all that “it is our government and it is time to remind them of that”. The problem is folks that time has passed “We the people” have no control and no voice anymore. The last 60 years since WWII has been a steady and successful slide to make sure of that by the small percent who control the wealth and power. We impeached a president in the 90′s and it didn’t work. You and I paid his legal fees to make sure of it. The following election the president that was voted in ended up instead making movies about supposed truths because they changed the results to match what they wanted. We have given complete control to our Feds, main street has gone away and has been given to wall street which is run by the Fed and that has failed, the high seats have and continue to go to the highest bidder and they continue to fail. And if you think you can do anything about it, then try! If you start to succeed see how fast your life will be destroyed by every weapon they have from all the inter-agencies named with letters FBI, NSA, IRS and more that we fund but don’t even know exist. I wonder what would happen if the revolution that created this AMAZING COUNTRY was attempted today? HA, it would never get off the ground! There is so much more I want to say, but I have probably been added to the no-fly and terrorist watch list with this post. Which is okay because I can’t afford the gas to drive to the airport much less take a vacation anywhere. Just one more thing by the way folks. Do a little research on the financial, moral, and governing state Germany was in in 1919 and then lay it over the current state of the U.S. and you will find some scary similarities. Especially how everything and everyone was up for sale. The events that took place over the following 26 years there were mind-blowing, and even scarier is I see a lot of the same things happening here and the groundwork being laid for more of the same (healthcare, private capitol bailouts, and a herd-like craving for an alpha to come and make all our decisions to save us). Hitler takes all the blame, but he was just the figure head of of a group called the third reich that was made up of the small percent that controlled the wealth and power of the time and place and put themselves or puppets in power and made the government impenetrable and answerable to no one but themselves. I wonder how all the secret intelligence run prisons we have all over the world right now compare to the secret run facilities they had back then that were called concentration camps. I am not left or right, liberal or conservative. I am an American with a family to raise and don’t have the answers to a lot of the problems we are faced with. I am a volunteer fireman in my small town because if I don’t do it my neighbor, or my own family may not have the help when it is needed. I don’t get paid one cent and in fact I have to pay dues to belong and most times pay my own fees when I go to required training. And I am one of millions of Americans that do things like this. I expect myself and my kids to be held accountable for our actions, that people should always try their best to help a friend or neighbor in need but never expect that that help will come if we need it so be ready to stand on your own 2 feet because nobody owes us anything in this life we don’t earn, a lie is a lie, and there is no such thing as “the good old days” there is only today and what we do with it is up to us, and there may not be a tomorrow to make up for any wrongs we do to face up to them and do your best to make them right, there may be a God or there may not be all I know for sure is that I am not God and if he/she/it doesn’t exist keeping your word and doing the best you can to be a good person is still worth it, and lastly I tell the kids and their mother that I love them everyday at least once, even if I am away from them I pick up the phone and say it and the great part is they say it back and we mean it. I don’t know what code you or all my neighbors live by and I don’t have to cause unless it’s one that includes hurting my family or me it’s none of my business. I just hope that I am lucky enough to see trouble coming in time to avoid it. I wonder why then I need any laws to tell me what I can and can’t eat, smoke, drink, see, read, have removed from my body, have added to my body, and who I can or can’t marry. I understand why my parents had a say in these things, but not my government. Where do we go from here? Well lets sit back folks and we will see what that small percent of wealth has in store for us next and then “experts” on all the news channels will tell us why it will or won’t work, the comedians will make the same old jokes about all the old and new names, the staunch followers will continue to put on t-shirts, bumper stickers, and other propaganda to shove their beliefs in our face, celebrities will continue to have too much money, free time and ego and will go into addiction or god forbid political rants about what’s wrong and how the republicans, dems, or we are to blame as long as they can’t get cell or satellite reception from the one of 3 to 10 homes they own. I will shake my head and continue to do everything I can to keep my family safe and will know the only things I can truly change is oil(while it lasts), my underwear and my OWN mind.

Obviously, a lot of this is spun to make the points more valid and some of it excludes facts that exonerate Obama on the issue, but it gets the message across. I don’t look at this as a bash on Obama, I look at this as a bash on all Presidents. Everyone wanted to blame Bush for everything, when they don’t realize that all Presidents have their problems. Just because someone can’t get up in front of crowds and make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside doesn’t make them any worse than someone who is a great public speaker but not good at anything else…

A lot of the things Obama has done, still gets blamed on Bush(I am not saying Bush was a great president. He was dumb, but he wasn’t THAT dumb!)

All conspiracy theories and political agendas aside the problem does not begin or end with the office of the President. It begins with everyday citizens and ends with our elected representatives at all levels being held accountable by those everyday citizens. Public service is the way I learned it as a child. Representative republic as the system. All these monies were not spent by one person. We have as a people collectively rewarded our reps for bringing home the pork for our districts. Obama is not the first or last politician to look like an idiot upon close examination. I believe if we look at the true definition of treason we could levy that charge against many politicians, if not that, at least a charge of seditious acts.

Teaching personal responsibility starts at home. Locally. Grassroots solutions that start in our local gathering places. When you find yourself in a hole stop digging. If each one of us can not come to reason and make tough choices we are doomed to continue down a path of failure.

The problem took years to create and if it is to be solved it will take time to correct. We teach the principles of balancing a personal budget and force our politicians to do the same with our governments. This means facing a bunch of painful realities as a society or we can watch it fail. The choice is ours.

When, in the course of Human Events, you have a President who:

    1. Doubled the national debt in just one year

    2. Proposed to double the debt again within 10 years

    3. Spent nearly a trillion dollars in stimulus to guarantee unemployment would not exceed 8%

    4. Passed a law to force Americans to purchase a private product and exempted 1400 organizations it

    5. Ordered an illegal gun running operation resulting in American arms in the hands of foreign drug cartels who used them to murder Americans

    6. Criticized a state law that he admitted to never even reading

    7. Joined the country of Mexico, sueing a state to allow illegal immigration

    8. Put 87,000 people out of work by placing a moratorium on offshore oil drilling

    9. Ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation

    10. Reduced retirement plan holdings of GM stock by 90%, given the unions a majority stake in the car maker

    11. Created 45 Czars, bypassing the House and Senate

    12. Filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who don’t pay their own income taxes

    13. Burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on “Earth Day”

    14. Played golf for thirteen weekends in a row as the greatest financial crisis since the great depression came to a crises

When all this and so much more happens, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have caused them to support that President.

You forgot to mention the stupid assed moment when he jumped to the conclusion that a cop doing his duty was being a racist, and acted stupidly, when he detained the black professor. This was nothing more than pure racism. The man is supposed to be trained as a lawyer, and yet not even the most incompetent 1st year law student would jump to such a conclusion without proper evidence. Just like when the assclown criticized the Arizona immigration law that he had never read; or allowed the passage of the healthcare bill that no one had read.

Just frank questions of what the reader would think if these things had been done by another president. And this president did do these things, which can be researched, and for the most part have been in the daily news and are common knowledge.

All of the items in this article are true and can be proven with a little research. The obama zombies will not change their minds about him, because they have been indoctrinated/brainwashed their entire lives by the liberal progressive school systems. I detest the marxist/socialist/communist/liberal progressive/anti-capitalist/anti-American change that obama has/is doing to the united states of America. Liberal progressiveism will continue to destruct this great country till it becomes a third world cesspool full of enslaved people. 291. By William Perrigo on Jul 21, 2011 | Reply

Lehmann talks about facts, but stops short of presenting factual data

    1) The budget deficit:  Lehmann does not list the main cost factors and who was responcible for them because it would weaken his argument strongly and suggest that change needs to happen on both political sides, republican and democrat.

    2) Double the National Debt: sounds terrible, down right unamerican! Maybe Obama is proposing, a future possibility, but Bush Jr. DID double the debt! What is Lehman relly saying here?

    3) Unemployment Rate: its about 9.2% as of June 2011. The crash of 2008 was built on lots of lies from lots of people. The stimulus package was a team deal both democrat and republican. The big lie was big business taking the loans at almost zero interest and firing instead of hiring. Greed!

    4) Golf: Most would agree that golf is a sport where lots of business decisions are made while playing. He is our top man by vote, he also deserves an outlet for stress. Doesn’t matter wether a democratic or republican president is in office. Get away from the desk to clear thoughts and be more productive later.

    5) Not reading state law: our people in Goverment like to write, they write so much its impossible to read it all. Ask ANY in the field, thats why President Reagan had so many advisers, he would have been unaffective if he had to litteraly read all those pages.

    6) Unconstitutional law: If a president passes a law, it cannot be unconstitutional, as the congress passed it as well. It can be resinded later however. Your answer can be found in the Patriot Act of 2001 under President Bush. That act alone took away liberty and freedom way beyond anything to date. All the things we hate about Nazi Germany were okay in that law. Did you read it?

    7) Mexican boarder: The issue is too complex and you know it. One thing is for sure, illegal immigrant or not, if a woman gives birth to a child on US soil, that kid is a US citizen! Otherwise we can all go back to Norway where we came from.

    8) Pronounciation of Corpsman: Lehmann wants to nitpick here. The list is long of all the blunders politicians blurt out. The truth is President Obama has one of the most intelligent vocabularies ever. That’s not my oppinion, that’s scientific fact from speech scientists.

    9) OIL stop: it wasn’t an accident, Lehmann, it wasn’t a little boo boo. It was a catastrophy! Any president would have acted this way. Maybe you should be reporting on the agent sprayed from airplanes used to make the oil sink to the middle of the ocean (out of sight and out of mind, but killing fish). But that might lean to a problem that exsists on the democrat and republican side.

    10) Forged document: Sounds scarry! And it is! 87,000 out of work. Man what a bad man! Its amazing what a President has to do to protect our shores from companies that will stop at nothing to pumb black gold out of the ocean floor. Look how BP reacted to it all “we did nothing”.

    11) Teleprompter: Presidents have to speak every day, they all use the teleprompter from time to time.

    12) NYC play: Approved! They deserve a private life of some sort. No president can just take a quick weekend in the old station wagon without security. Lehmann is such a nit pick!

    13) GM retirement: yes approved! Better that than the company entering bankruptcy and loosing all that money. Funny, Lehmann doesn’t talk about the GM private jet used to come to Congressional hearings.

    14) Special Olypics: not approved. But he appologized right away for saying it. Come on Lehmnn haven’t you ever said some remark of that kind and realized that it wasn’t appropriate.

    15) DVDs: US Goverment officials can’t give expensive gifts. I’m sure Gordon Brown was sweating that one as fast as you can say “special relationship”. I mean what gift should he give? Maybe give the country back including the debt?

    16) iPod: Finally the queen got what she could use! Apple is the hottest right now, it was fitting enough. blackberry no go, as it would be like giving her majesty one of her own products.

    17) Bowing to King: showing respect is always okay. Its all about speaking softly but carrying a big stick. That country will feel important and open itself up more to our trade goods and better relationship.

    18) Austria: well its true, they have a dialect, but their language is indeed German. Just like americans say they speak english or american english as the dialect.

    19) taxes: mistakes happen, move on.

    20) 57 states: Best thing he could have said. I think we’re all tired of “only” having 50 states and since some of our territories are indeed states in them selves it would be good to ask them to be US States as well. Puerto Rico, Guam, etc…

    21) Olympics: 5 minute speaches are his Job! this deal was worth hundreds of millions of dollars to the USA. With all that on the line that’s what any top manager of any company would do and any country for that matter.

    22) Spanish flubs: Your right, totally embarrasing. So what! He speaks english, the best language in the World! Corpsman doesn’t count, that’s french, like freedom fries! How do you spell Potoato (e)?
    Here…pronounce this: что вы неудачник!

    23) Tree on Earth day: Really 9,000 Gallons? Wow, I didn’t realize it was that much. spell “No to Kyoto”  and ask your self how many million of gallons that used up!

    24) Buzz the Towers in NYC: Yes, it was bad judgement.

    25) Czars: approved! By the way, nothing gets past Congress. Sooner or later it all bubbles up, the good, the bad and the ugly. Reagan also had Czars, i think he used the term adviSARS.

    26) Firing CEO: Approved! The state bought the company. Thats the way it goes baby!

    27) “hiding his identity”:… it’s the Hawaii thing again. Just say it: 44th president of the USA (including Hawaii).

    28) Muslim: I would call him enlightened and able to understand multiple sides of world issues. By the way, Jesus is mentioned by name 25 times in the Quran. He is a profit of great importance who was sent by god.  I don’t know what that means but it would suggest that, indeed, we are praying to the same god. You call you self a protector of the Constitition? Freedom of Religion!!! You need need to have some sessions with a great man: Republican Ron Paul!

    29) Nobel Prize: Yes, its a tough one. It will be hard if not impossible for you to understand….Nations stopped feeling trampled on. There was a sweet smell in the air of “we’ll do this together”, instead of the previous “i will tell you what to do!” he got the award for daring to speak softly. And that is indeed a honor worthy from Nobel, Alfred Nobel, the man who invented Dynamite!

    30) Arms for drug dealers: You are commenting on things of wich you have litterlly no understanding. The best would be for people to simply stop snorting coke and smoking pot! The men and women in law inforcement consider these dangerous issues every day. Some of the ways to catch illegal operations don’t work and people get killed, regardless of how well the plan was thought out. Those on the front line are heros for sure. Don’t point fingers here. This is a issue for all sides to consider, how to solve this problem of drug trafficing, because it keeps growing.

    31) Birth Certificate. Not fraudulent. We still have a 44th President.
His mother probably told him that he was born in Hawaii. so you would expect a child to believe 100% with no doubt whatsoever! That shows character!

In conclusion Lehmen is selling opium to the masses who he believes cannot and do not want to see factual data. I, however,  know they are intelligent and would like to base desisions on real facts.

Instead of blaming him for the current recession, they always go back to our former president and blame him. The Dems are truly blinded by their own ignorance. let me start by saying, Kevin, great article. Now, I would like to go to the top and respond to someone elses comment. Ken, the non American with an “objective” viewpoint. Maybe the problem with America is that we started caring what the rest of the world thought of us. So in my honest opinion, worry about your own issues. The other one is Chelsea who wanted to talk about the hate wagon. I’m not a Bush fan, but really, Katrina? You still believe that was Bush’s fault? Mayor Ray, or the Governor who decided not to act, they had nothing to do with it. Just Bush, the guy who couldn’t send in anything without state permission, it’s his fault? Ok, moving on, liberalism is a disease. They don’t care what the president does as long as it advances the liberal agenda. If you have to trample the Constitution to do it, so be it. So, that means no matter what we write here, or what our comments say, they will not change. The only ones we hope to reach are those in the middle who haven’t made a decision yet. The way to do that is to win the argument against the liberals. We do that very easily, because they don’t have valid arguments, they have name calling and other ludicrous behavior. So, people commenting, stick to the facts. The liberals can’t dispute them, and they will result to calling as “right wing nut jobs”, “birthers”, “conspiracy theorists”, whatever. When that happens, you know you’ve won.

I agree. I would like to see where the proof is. I don’t care for Obama, but some of these are a bit reaching. I looked up the “Cinco de Cuatro” thing and it looked like to me he was making a joke because it was in fact May 4th when he said it and a second later he states, “We are a day early”. I don’t think he was being ignorant. Also, the thing about the special olympics wasn’t that bad to me. It was inappropriate, but a lot of people make stupid jokes like that. While I think he should be more careful about his statements because of his political position of leadership, that statement has nothing to do with his ability to run our country. There are other things in this article I would like to see proof of, however. Things I would be very upset to find that they were fact.

My only point is that while I do know some of these to be fact, there are many I do not. I could spend the time to look the ones I do not know up, but that would be pointless as I know he is not the person I want in office.

My issue is I cannot post or share this without doing the research, my principles, not necessarily yours, so I cannot use this to change the minds of those who do want him as the next President.

I am sure you can understand that if someone wants to be taken legitimately outside of the circle of people who already agree with them, they must prove their points. I say this because I believe the onus of proof/legitimacy belongs with the originator. Just as it is Obama’s burden to prove his eligibility to be President, not mine to disprove.

    1. The Unenforced Definition of “Natural-Born Citizenship”

The U.S. Constitution requires that a presidential candidate be a natural-born citizen in order to be eligible for the office of President.

In seeking to define the meaning of “natural born citizenship”, those who blindly support Obama desperately seek a minimalist’s definition of the term. They desire that a natural-born citizen is one to whom may be ascribed as few requirements as possible in order that a candidate, with whom they share ideological fetishes, can be president regardless of his actual fitness for the office. They seek to assume jurisdiction over the declaration of being “natural born” in the minds of as many as possible while contending that “natural born citizenship” means the fewest, most remedial natal circumstances possible, which will allow their politigod, Barack Obama, just enough legitimacy to squeak by and be eligible.

Their definition allows Obama to merely meet what they consider the most easily argued, though obviously unverifiable characteristics of Obama’s obscure citizenry, in this case, his birth place.

However, unfortunately for Obama supporters, the purposed intent of our founders was not so slight in this matter. They sought to make the meaning of being a natural born citizen the highest, most laudable position of all forms of citizenry. After witnessing the corruption and inbreeding and treasons of monarchal rule, America’s founders desired that becoming President of the United States to be as difficult as possible…politically, socially and biologically.

All arguments seeking to diminish this truth are reprobate and defamatory, made in the interest of serving one’s own political lust, not defending the sovereignty of our Constitution or upholding the value of the blood ransom paid by our people.

Hence, logically, our founders induced that the highest form of eligibility for the highest office would be a lawful mandate.

    Consider the following:

Taking survey of all possible circumstances which, therefore, lend credibility to one’s claim to legitimacy, and thereby, eligibility to lead, there is much more to consider than simply one’s location of birth. In order to meet the highest standard intended by our founders, we must also consider that biology must also meet this standard. Not only is it essential that a presidential candidate be born under the sovereign geographic protection of our Constitution, he must also be conceived by two parents of native citizenry, possessing U.S. citizenship.

Moreover, let’s consider further extension of this ideal by commanding that a presidential candidate also be conceived legitimately within the bounds of legal marriage of their parentage. Having been measured and found wanton, those subservient to bias for persons over their respect for the office would not embrace this noble ideal. For them, uplifting the standard of the presidency remains an inferior cause to diminishing the requirements in order to provide access for their inferior candidate. Therefore, they seek to minimize the standard, not maximize the person.

Of course, this would disqualify many from being the President…as so it should!

However, let’s not even stop there. We should also assume that our founders sought to ensure that a presidential candidate had also preserved their natural-born citizenship from “conception to election”, never having allowed it to be revoked, or never having it revoked even against their will. For, even those who lose their eligibility to no fault of their own should bear up in faith that this is the intention of higher power, sacrificing for the sake of sovereignty of the office rather than opportunity for the man!

Let all of these metrics define the standards of natural-born citizenship in America. Bannish minimalism and seek the highest mark in the spirit of exceptionalism forged by our forefathers! Hold this mantle lest that crown be stolen by any upon the earth without seeking the interests of God and country first! Daringly and boldly, let these marks serve as the highest definition of humanity’s advanced citizenship and the prescribed metrics for eligibility to be President of the U.S.!

We should set a higher bar, not lower it. It is impossible to choose one’s own natural-born citizenship because it is preeminent and incumbent to one’s birth. Historical writings, along with related legal precedents strongly suggest this form of citizenship is achieved when natural circumstances make it impossible for that individual to have any citizenship or allegiances other than with the United States at the time they are elected as President. Research of America’s founding culture reveals that a very heavy emphasis was placed on legitimacy at birth.

Therefore, it is probable that one’s most authentic degree of natural born identity does not occur at birth, but at conception. With this in mind, we must consider that the framers of the Constitution assumed it was commonly understood that the definition of “natural-born citizenship” for a presidential candidate to mean a citizenship status that was not just acheived by the event of birth but that it was a maintained status from “conception to election” in order to qualify a sovereign candidate. This is the most complete definition of natural born citizenship possible. There is no other degree of more complete natural circumstances which can establish the status of one’s existence.

Therefore, theoretically, natural-born citizenship, in its purest, ineradicable form, could be measured by three metrics:

    1) Biological conception by two U.S. citizen parents

    2) Birth in a geographic region under the protection of the U.S. Constitution

    3) Maintenance of that citizenship status without any unnatural interruption of parentage, legal process or administrative procedure.

This means that their citizenship has never been achieved by any legal or administration process at or after birth. Dual citizens and expatriates are not natural-born citizens. Those who lose their natural-born status by taking the citizenship of another country or denouncing their natural born U.S. citizenship cannot regain it. A natural-born citizen is one who was born within a geographic region under the protections of the U.S. Constitution AND to two U.S. citizen parents, they being either natural-born or legally naturalized through immigration or repatriation.

Despite ongoing, unanswered questions about his geographic origins, Obama does not meet the requirements to be a natural-born citizen for two possible other reasons:

    1) His alleged biological father, Barack Obama Sr., was not a U.S. Citizen

    2) He was adopted by his muslim, Indonesian step-father, Lolo Soetoro, in the mid 1960s thereby taking Indonesian citizenship, thus forfeiting natural-born status.

The Law was written and we follow it it is a “Living Document” your ideas sound good in a debate but is is not Law! If your claims had any Legal basis I’m sure it would be in court right now. You and I both know no Judge will touch this with a 10 foot pole. If your not a lawyer and practice Law then you what you have is ideas and opinions. A good Portion of our congressional branch is comprised of Lawyers you may be a scholar I’m sure all those Lawyers didn’t mis read the Law regarding U.S. Citizenship.

Of course they’re not going to push the issue, nobody wants to be blamed for inciting racial wars and the anarchy that would ensue as a result of impeaching him. Besides that, no one wants to have to reverse the legislative decisions, including unseating last two SC justices and admit that Americans were stupid enough to be duped by an unqualified ideologue that conned us with his oratory and “cool” factor.

Like it or not, the article makes one HAVE to stop & think about the *continued* lies we have coming out of Washington. No fan of BHO, I loved that Kevin’s compiled a list of many of his egregious grasps for more power & knack for mismanagement…oh and lying.

My favorite laughs of the day, however, came from the comments–particularly the lefty trolls rushing to defend their “hero of change.” Guess the true favorite is they accuse Kevin of *REPEATING* false claims, as they repeatedly ask, “Oh yeah, where were these questions about Bush JR.?”

First, class, stop repeating claims George Walker Bush #43 was JUNIOR. And that George HERBERT WALKER Bush #41 was a SENIOR. That is a blatant attempt to demonize the whole name Bush to *repeatedly* try to deflect blame–and I was no Bush fan! But please, Bush! Bush! Bush! Bush! Bush! OMG, does the blame game NEVER get old?! [sarcastically, "Kevin you are a $*&^*%)^*$&W&%, _)$(%&&^$^#%%$ RACIST for blaming anything on Obama, but listen to ME while I go on and on and on blaming BUSH. BUSH! BUUUUSSSSH!" till we almost see a head explode!]

Where was I the trolls will ask? I WAS asking lots of similar questions of Bush, protesting the lies that took us to war alongside some of today’s very ignorant trolls who champion the emperor taking us into at least 2.5 MORE wars, AFTER getting his Nobel PEACE (really?) Prize [or was it “noble piece,” but I digress]. This is the same BHO who told a reporter (w/ a straight face) he had 2 words of advice for any young men dating his daughters: “predator drones!” Oh yeah? Like the ones that put the blood of thousands of innocent civilians on HIS hands today? BHO reminds us “HE got bin Laden,” but deflects ANY responsibility for civilians he’s MOST responsible for killing as he continues attacking countries without provocation.

Aside from the phony weapons of mass destruction argument Bush #43 told us, we were assured we were “NOT NATIONBUILDING” in Iraq–yet his highness Obama told us we had to tier our withdrawal because our “NATIONBUILDING was not finished.” OK, so the lies continue. Note to trolls, I said “CONTINUE.”

Yes, BOTH the Democratic AND Republican parties S-U-C-K. Their leaders are drunk with political power, spending the country into oblivion as the ONLY thing they hold dear is RE-ELECTION to continue the plunder.

As for the tired ol’ race card, please explain WHY is it “racist” to vote against or speak out about a man’s policies you DISAGREE with, but it is “not racist” to vote for him primarily BECAUSE he is black (or half-black or whatever)? [Pot, meet kettle.]

And since people are scrapping to find some (any) fault with Kevin’s post they can’t readily dispute without lifting a finger to research (my favorite was the admonishment for needing an editor to correct a misplaced apostrophe!), is this where I point out to Chelsea that the correct word is “RAMPANT” not “RAMPID?” Guess in her spirit to “stop the hating,” she’s going to walk neighborhoods for Sarah Palin…or Michelle Bachmann after the media crucified them [read: “hated on”] for a mangled word?

Bush #43 once famously asked “Is our children learning?” Judging from the hilarious comments, apparently, NO! Love him or hate him, at least it’s obvious Kevin is well-read, pulls his material from MULTIPLE sources and doesn’t just call names first, then spout Democratic PARTY talking points blindly!

I leave you w/ 2 appropriate quotes from Elbert Hubbard [my comments bracketed]:
“The object of teaching a child is to enable him to get along without a teacher.”

[Meaning don't demand sources be provided for "allegations" you disagree with—simply because you disagree--if you aren't willing to provide your sources FIRST in “drawing the line” for WHY you de-bunk the claim! “Because I said so” is no more proof Kevin’s “alleging” some lie, if you can’t readily prove or cite a source showing why you may think he’s full of it!]

And finally, “The recipe for perpetual ignorance is: BE SATISFIED WITH YOUR OPINIONS AND CONTENT WITH YOUR KNOWLEDGE.”

[Then go trolling for on-line cat fights to prove it.]

The ignorance and skewed representation of many of your points cloud anything meaningful you have to say.

#7: Nobody sued Arizona to continue to allow illegal immigration, Mr. “Constitutional Conservative.” Immigration law is the exclusive province of the federal government. This means that pursuant to the US Constitution, States cannot regulate immigration. Obama, the US Supreme Court and company have required a rogue state to abide by the Constitution. Bravo.

#17: Obama should be applauded for his cultural awareness, humility and decorum. If a country’s custom is to bow to the leader, then Obama would have been the stereotypical “Arrogant American” to have failed to do so.

#28: You must be ignorant and backwoods to insinuate that living in the company of Muslims tainted our President. The Civil Rights movement taught you nothing.

#31: Newsflash- a person born on American soil is a US citizen without regard to his parents’ citizenship. If your educational background were a fraction as prestigious as Obama’s, you would know that.

  348. By David L Alexander on Jul 21, 2011 | Reply

The reference to the term “NATURAL-born citizen” is used in the Constitution (Article II, Section 1) in regard to eligibility for the Presidency. It would have been understood by those who actually wrote it, as referring to a birthright from both parents, and distinguished from “NATIVE-born citizen.” It was incorporated over concern that a foreign aristocrat may immigrate here, become a citizen, and use his considerable wealth and influence to impose a monarchy. (They actually had reason to be concerned at the time.) Those who wrote the Constitution felt no more need to explain a long-held and implicitly understood convention of English common law, than they would to explain “form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility,” and so on.

Meanwhile, taxing the crap out of us and forcing us to work long hours so they can take our children and educate them to go against us. Then they use them to get what they want.

It astonishes me how many people think that if you don’t have a degree or don’t have some form of certificate that you don’t know what your doing. Well – Arizona DID get sued. It may be the NATIONAL government’s purview to regulate immigration – but they ALREADY have federal laws in place REQUIRING the states to ASSIST AND UPHOLD the existing federal laws regarding immigration. Arizona’s law is TECHNICALLY not required in a sense, but the current administration from the President, down to every crony in the DOJ has NO INTEREST in enforcing the existing laws. Getting NO assistance but a blind eye and silence, they passed laws to protect their OWN state, and in absentia, processes by which they can do so. I do not see a problem with deporting illegal immigrants, particularly if they are caught committing a crime. Legal immigrants can stay – illegals can go.

Sharia Law? Ha, that’s a good one, Kevin. Thanks for the laugh. Haven’t found a good comedy blog in quite awhile.

But I was actually trying to have an honest discussion about an issue that is really affecting us, right now. Corporations are writing new laws with the help of their co-conspirators, the GOP, that threaten the power of ‘we the people’ instilled by our forefathers. They even are trying to change the Constitution to get what they want, absolute corporate control over our government. It is a direct attack on our democracy and there are five justices sitting on the Supreme Court, all appointed by Republicans, who gave them the permission to do it. By the time Sharia Law could ever remotely gain any traction in the way our country is governed at any level, the liberties and freedom that you supposedly cherish will be long gone.

But why would you address any of that when you can distract your followers with a bunch of fear-mongering nonsense that has absolutely no effect on their lives? Instead of having dialogue about the issues that are relevant to the problems that people are facing every day here in this country, you point to the straw man then sit back and watch the rooks swoop down with the torch of anger in their mouths until the entire republic is in flames.

The problem isn’t Sharia Law or the birth certificate or a bow instead of a handshake or some other delusional fantasy that people like you conjure up. The problem is that the majority of people aren’t talking about what’s really going on with the failure of our government. And with blogs like this, people never will.

Perhaps the finale to your posts should say, “Go to sleep America.” because that’s what your really asking them to do with posts like this. At least then you’ll be taking responsibility for the nightmares you plant in their heads.

Well written! It is a no brainer that Republicans should not be supporting Obama. He has attacked America’s economy and culture. What I don’t understand is why Democrats are so loyal to him. When I think about the tradition of past Dem Presidents, I think about FDR’s fireside chats where he attacked FEAR; yet Obama is the biggest fear monger of them all! I think about JFK’s final speech against secret societies and meetings; yet this POTUS does everything in secret. I think Carter’s use of diplomacy even when I disagreed with it; and yet this POTUS wages wars on at least 6 fronts (Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, Libya). I think about FDR’s defense of the homeland after Pearl Harbor; yet Obama actually arms the enemies of our nation south of our border who attack America every day! I think about Clinton’s balanced budget (albeit forced upon him) and I look at Obama’s deficits and wonder how anyone who was a player in the Clinton years could have anything to do with Obama.

It is time we make the case against Obama rather forcefully. Kevin, your list is certainly a useful guide for a bill of indictment against a POTUS who is, without a doubt, the closest thing to a tyrant we have had in this nation.

Spouting words of insult and calling people names doesn’t mean that you are actually talking about the failure of the government, which is exactly what this article is all about in the first place. Even the few things that you mention in your rebuttal don’t address the cause of that failure. Why won’t you “conservatives” ever talk about the influence of big business over our government? Instead you pull out fear and scare tactics to bully people into accepting your agenda.

I agree that Obama has failed with many of the policies that you mentioned but not because he’s an idiot. He’s failing because he’s still allowing the corporate elite to run our government. They aren’t failing. They are having incredible success in this recession but the average person, whom you purport to speak for, is not. Everything that you mentioned, except the sharia law idea (still smirking over that one) is a direct continuation of Republican policies that have left our economy in shambles. Obama is a Republican at heart and that’s why he has failed.

Except when it comes to placing justices on the bench, which affects every single thing you care to mention on this blog. Corporations are not people and they shouldn’t be given the power to directly control the outcome of elections, laws and government. The Republicans think that they should.

Trust me, I do not vote the party line at any other level of government or with any law that I have the fortune to vote on. I sincerely address the issue as it is presented to me and vote from my heart with the good of ALL Americans in mind. But after Bush put Alito and Roberts on the bench and saw what they, along with the other ancient Republican nominees, have done to our democracy. Well, unless you got something better than spiked drink jokes, you aren’t convincing me of anything.

And why does someone who is consciously involved in participating in democracy and attempting to have dialogue about the issues scare you? Shouldn’t that empower you to engage in the same process, which is the only way that we’ll create valuable change during these turbulent times.

I’m not spouting words of insult or calling you names. “Why won’t you “conservatives” ever talk about the influence of big business over our government?” Come on Wade! The biggest influence on government are the UNIONS! Let’s start with dismantling them. They’ve worn out their effectiveness and are completely corrupt. We need more people like Scott Walker, leaders with the cojones to stomach the lash back from clueless people with an entitlement mentality. The money just isn’t there! Our economy is growing at an anemic 2% and Obama is calling for more taxes? Keynesian economic philosophy has it’s place, but not when you’re $15 TRILLION dollars in debt and when 41% of your revenues go towards servicing that debt. And yes, I agree that big business (GE, “We bring crooked politicians to life.”) has no place in government. But hell, they’re in bed with OBAMA! Hello, the banks and the car companies are nationalized under whose watch? Obama’s!

I wouldn’t be so quick to “smirk” over Sharia Law. Read my Elena Kagan piece and educate yourself. It’s already well under way to embedding itself in American courts.

Do I look “scared” to you? At the end of the day we’re all Americans that pretty much want the same thing. We need to rise above our petty partisan bickering, remove our polluted predispositions and flawed ideologies and make decisions based on sound reasoning. The math doesn’t lie, and yes, Conservatives have a hell of a much better plan than anything I’ve seen from Obama. Oh wait . . . Obama doesn’t have a plan.

I say corporations, you say unions. Should’ve known that’s how you would address the corporate influence on politics. Unions are not the biggest influence on politics, no matter how many capital letters you use. Over the past thirty years the power and size of unions have gone steadily down while the power of corporations have gone steadily up. During the same time the wages for everyday Americans have stagnated while corporate profits have exploded. This is not a lucky coincidence. It is a conscientious plan by corporations and the politicians that they own to transfer all the wealth into the hands of a few. It began with Reagan and hasn’t stopped, regardless of who was in the white house. It continues today and will continue tomorrow and any Republican that is nominated in the coming year, who you will most undoubtedly endorse, will continue to create the same problems.

And pointing out GE’s influence over Obama two sentences after touting the genius of Scott Walker, who’s entire legislation was written by Koch Industries and their cronies is truly comical. Corporate influence has decimated our economy. All of your examples are a direct reflection of that.

And I’m finding it hard to be impressed by your anti-partisan bickering let’s all make rational decisions based on sound reasoning when your entire blog (yes, I did read it) is a direct reflection of partisan bickering and making people so ignorant that any thought of reasonable action flies right out the window. Weren’t you the one who said that you wanted to burn down the republic? Yes, very rational, Kevin.

That said, I’m against forcing the rich to pay a higher percentage of tax just because they can afford it. That’s discrimination no matter how you look at it.

Unions aren’t the biggest influence on politics? Hello… earth calling Wade, GM deal! Need I say more? Your assessment of Walker’s legislation is laughable! If it’s so bad, why did your very liberal and democratic governor of all places, drum roll please . . . NEW YORK, rip a page right out of Walker’s playbook and cut spending, reduce taxes, and pass a much lower budget? Why? Because you can’t argue with common sense conservatism! And don’t parse my words, Wade. Metaphors are a good thing.

Now run along, I’m “wading” through a couple hundred more comments, mostly supportive and complimentary, but I’m looking for the opposers and haters so I can school them.

Oh, one more thing . . . I’m an independent Constitutional conservative. I may lean right but only because it’s the right thing to do :-)

Godspeed Wade, I’ll still buy you a beer in an airport lounge one day. That is if Obama doesn’t have it priced at $20 by the time that happens.

Obama’s election is a result of the government run education system which has dumbed down the young electorate. Nix the Dept. of Education and encourage more affordable private schools in America.

We need to hold whoever is in the office of the President of the United States against the standards given in the original Constitution.

Regardless of where he or she may sit in the spectrum of diametrically-opposite positions of Far-left LibDem to Far-right RepCon, he or she needs to do only that which is stated in the Constitution and no more or less.

Same as with all the others who lead in the other two branches of the federal government.

In my profession we call it “scope creep” when a software developer starts doing things outside of his or her allocated duties and starts taking on side-projects. This is often the cause of project failure in some cases, since the individual took on more than was asked for.

I feel our current federal government is indeed falling under the influence of “Scope Creep” leading to the 31 points noted in the original post. Had our current President only acted as the head of the military branch and not as a “feelgood” ambassador, we’d not have as much to throw sticks at.

Scope creep, in my profession also leads to project budget disasters, which also is what our current Fed govt is facing, but that’s a different topic entirely.

We really need to review where our govt is acting outside the boundaries we originally set up for it, and force it back in. We ARE still in charge of our government aren’t we?

To those who voted for Obama and/or are requesting SOURCES for the above list, I have one question. Do you watch and listen to the one you voted for. If you want a source here it is: OBAMA. Watch, listen and learn people. To the one who posed the question about Katrina and Bush, Bush offered assistance to Louisiana before the storm ever hit. The Louisiana Officials told the Fed Gov’t their state had things under control. So the State Officials were to blame for that fiasco and I don’t care who the president in office during that time was I defend that part, it was the State’s fault. By the time the Fed gov’t could act, accessibility was extremely difficult, not too mention when the gov’t was attempting to rescue they were fired upon by the residents of the state. My Source: CNN, I don’t watch that network usually but it was the station on at where I worked at the time and I watched those events unfold. As far as the Source for the above, the man himself (OBAMA).

I’ve gotta finger to point at you and it is not an index finger either! ha!

The illegal alien we call president won a public relations contest staged and put over the top by dead people, illegal voters and outright fraud.People voted like they were on the jerry springer show. The ‘leaders’ of both parties should be ashamed of themselves for touting such a lame slate of candidates. The fact is, most qualified people probably have a job in the private sector and are way too smart to win a popularity contest with such an informed electorate(ha ha). The majority of Americans are stupid with many of the rest just plain ignorant-remember,I’m just saying this for the children!

What people should look at is Jay Leno just before the 2008 voting. Jay had his people on the street inteviewing the general public. They asked which candidate are you voting for? They would mention McCain and quote Obama, then mention Obama and quote McCain. The majority of the peopel on the street said they liked Obama’s (McCain’s) views and that Obama was who they were voting forto fix our government.
That alone shows how uneducated our society has become and that there is no way with that mentality are we going to fix anything. First and biggest problem that needs fixing, educate the masses, bring imagination and free thought back to our schools. Then once everyone is educated, watch how fast the govenment scrambles to fix its own mistakes.

Interesting points and being an outsider looking in (Canadian) I see your freedoms evaporating right before my eyes and your constitution is as good as torn up. Most of the folks down there just go along with it.

Sharon and everyone.. Remember that most of the youngsters these days have been institutionalized in a government indoctrination center for MOST of their lives. (K-12) Of COURSE they will think this way – they were trained to do so. Let the government educate our children and the fall of the country is soon to come. History is written by the winners and will NOT contain the whole truth.

There is still opportunity out there, but those that are looking for jobs are doomed. We must all fend for ourselves while offering hands up to our neighbors rather than hand outs. If you are out of a job – that is a good thing because the backbone of any country is the small business owner. Yeah, it’s scary. Yeah, it’s risky.. but it’s been proven time and time again that government can not be relied on for your benefit and safety/releif in an emergency .
(pensions being raided and remember Katrina?)
This leaves us to look ut for ourselves. Let’s start doing that. And helping others do the same. It is then that we truly shine as a people.

Everyone jumps in with ignorant insults and general “advice” to google or wake up or whatever; yet no one takes it upon themselves to prove it themselves. There may be truth in several of these allegations (named such because you have provided no citations) but coming from an educated American, I think many of you are as ignorant as you call your opposition.

    32) if the previous president were being sued and you discovered he were meeting privately with the judges who will ultimately decide the case(s) without his opponents in those cases present at the time…would you consider that president to be committing a crime or at least violating the rules of court;

    38) if the previous president had appointed a woman who was defending him in those previous mentioned lawsuits to be a judge in those lawsuits, would you not consider it unethical and illegal…would you not be suspicious of his intentions;

    39) If the previous president had forced through with lies and bribes a piece of legislation that was ultimately challenged in the courts, then refused to abide by the ruling of that court when it denied him the right to proceed, would you not consider him a despot and a tyrant;

    ‎40) if the previous president had entered a foreign country as a college student during a time when that foreign country were not permitting people with American passports to enter that country, wouldn’t you be curious as to how he got into that country;

    41) if the previous president had potentially been adopted by his step father and moved to his father’s home country…and documents showed that he placed him into a public school under a different name than the one he uses today…and declared him to be a citizen of that country at a time when that country did not allow dual citizenships, wouldn’t you want to know if he were really adopted by that step father and made into a citizen of that country and whether that would effect whether he were eligible to be president of the United States;

    42) if the previous president had said on his ‘resume’ for office that he was a Constitutional Law Professor, but then you found out that he little more than a simple instructor with no position or status at all, wouldn’t you be just a bit curious about what else he may have lied about;

    43) if the previous president had voluntarily given up a law license that he supposedly spent tens of thousands of dollars for wouldn’t you want to know why;

    44) If three people who had claimed to have had sexual relations with the previous president were all suddenly dead within six weeks of each other, wouldn’t that pique your curiosity a bit.

    45) If the previous president had claimed to be the Editor of the Harvard Law Review, but you’d never seen a single article he’d written, wouldn’t you be just a little curious how the heck he got that position?

    46) if the previous president had taped a political ad from the oval office, in violation of FEC laws, would you not want to see him investigate, if not penalized?

    47) If the previous president had said he executed a mission that killed Osama Bin Laden but refused to show pictures to prove it and in fact submitted fake pictures, and then told us he had Bin Laden buried at sea, wouldn’t you have some doubts about whether he were telling the truth;

    48) If the previous president were playing golf while his CIA director was executing a plan to killl Osama Bin Laden without his approval, wouldn’t you be curious what the heck was going on the WH;

    49) If the previous president had agreed to provide intelligence information to his Hollywood buddies about the events surrounding the kill of Osama Bin Laden, so that those Hollywood folks could make a film to come out just in time for the end of the election cycle, wouldn’t you want him investigated for giving away our country’s secrets to try to get re-elected;

    50) If the previous president had started a war WITHOUT Congressional approval and then continued that war beyond the 30 days permitted by the War Powers Act, wouldn’t you call for his impeachment.

You really shouldn’t comment on things you don’t know anything about. If you understood how our government worked you would know it wasn’t the last president that left this country broke. And, in-spite of Obama continually blaming him, the previous president is not responsible for anything that has transpired over the past 3 years. If you want to comment then do your research first. Obama was for all the bailouts and would have pushed them through, without congress, if he’d already been president. The last few years our prior president was in office was controlled by democrats… they got everything they wanted and are the ones that are more responsible!

FOR THOSE WHO WANT SOURCES: I hear what you’re saying in terms of credibility. Believe me. I get it. Is it possible, however, that if given sources, you wouldn’t believe them anyway? Was the President holding “standardized, federal mortgage forms” on live television a couple of weeks ago? Has he introduced a plan that requires you to purchase a product? What does that tell you? The definition of socialism: An economic system in which the State does or does not (at its own, sole discretion) own and distribute national resources in any given industry. It is the opposite of American capitalism (which gives us personal property ownership rights that reign supreme). What more evidence do you need? LOOK AROUND YOU, DAMN IT!! The federal government wants to control every major industry in this country! What does that tell you? Think hard for yourself (right now) and figure it out. You tell me what’s wrong with that picture. Do you want to own property that can’t be taken away by “majority vote” or are you okay with that? Do you want a federal government whose power knows no bounds or don’t you?

Yeah, no one cares if you’re from Canada. Become an American and help us fix America or keep your nose in your own damn country. SECOND: OBAMA DID NOT “INHERIT” ANYTHING. He campaigned for the Presidency, spent millions of dollars to win and promised he would change things. Now, he’s acting the opposite way he said he would on a daily basis. He’s a liar and a thief. And you can’t scream “hate and racism” all day long, but if the only reason you’re AFRAID to oppose him is because you don’t want to be called a racist…. do your country a favor. Stay your ass home on election day. To the people who actually got duped by his failed ideology in 2008: I can’t hate you for having an opinion different than mine. Do yourself a favor. Not for anyone else. Not me, this guy, that girl, your party, your family. For you. If you love Obama so much, get to know him. And when the Federal government abdicates it’s responsibilities, do we not have the right, no the duty, to take whatever measures necessary to protect our communities?
I’m sure you went to a very good university-no other way you could be so ignorant.

Obama is not my daddy and he does not tell me what to write but I think some of this is just outright lies. I don’t even support him and I still think it is lies, well much of it any way. Sad thing is there is no one any better on the other side of the aisle either. So when you come up with a solution to all these problems, many of which were passed on by a previous president, let me know..

    Dear Democrats and Republicans,

Your unequivocal hate fest has led us into this bog of debt and downward spiral of this country. Do you realize that most of your time is spent slinging unhelpful barbs at one another? Your methods of debate are useless and are not encouraging the rest to educate themselves. Please, for the love of whatever God or lack thereof you believe in, stop. You are absolutely not getting anywhere or through to anyone by maliciously attacking one another. I understand that you have strong views of what you believe and you are frustrated with the other side. I get it. That’s the whole point of the way this nation is set up, remember? So, stop with the name calling and the snide remarks. Try persuasion and education instead. Trust me, this nation will get better when its people learn to communicate with each other better.

    Love,
    A Libertarian.

The reasons given above are really not the main reason why Obama is a total failure. People that criticize the government for what it does are not looking at the big picture. The government is at fault but you must understand the underlying reason. It appears that there is a powerful and well organized group that control American politics and the politics around the world. They set up a system of Monetary control using fractional reserve banking and legal tender laws to control a nations economy. They control television and educational institutions and they carry out voting fraud. Obama, Romney, Santorum are captive to this group. Obama gave the Federal Reserve more authority signaling that he was merely a puppet. he was told to pass the health care act. and he was told to bomb Libya. He is no leader. He is just a puppet. He has a great chance of getting re-elected because the media is control and people learn most of what they know about politics from watching television. Television gives the voting public the issues and the choice for candidates. We have freedom of speech but if you speech could be in everyone home 24/7 i have not a chance. Television has owners and the owners have pick politicians who will carry their agenda. The USA is a captive nation……..indeed the entire world is.

Halfway through, and a lot of people laughing at Chris, and no one has cited sources. And I’m too bored to read further. And Bush DID mispronounce nuclear—constantly. Did no one ever point that out to him? Goodness gracious!

    @julio Rodriguez
Everyone wants the author to back up this article with sources (which is very easy to do on your own, most of them even through the MSM) how about you back up your claim.

@Pace – who the heck cares if Bush mispronounced nuclear, lots of people do. Not too many people mispronounce Corps or say there are 57 states or can’t speak a sentence without saying ‘ah’ 20 times…. if you want to go tit for tat

Why is it when Obama supporters have no real argument they throw out the race card?

Guess what? Sometimes it’s about racism. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck. . . What do you calls comments like calling the president “der fuhrer schwarz”, which I’ve seen?

Kevin, I agree with everything you have placed in the article. Yes, I too agree that it would be a good idea to provide sources for the data. Example, I have seen numerous reports of the official investigations by independent credible sources on Obamma’s birth certificate fraud. Through numerous methods, the released document has been absolutely proven fraudulent, and done so with the knowledge of the White House. These are already public documents, and as I understand it, are being introduced in court as evidence, not hearsay.
One of the things that seems to stand out for me is that those pronouncing themselves “liberal” have never had to actually face the consequences of their decisions. They seem to generally live in a dream world where someone else has had to meet and pay their debts for them. No wonder they do not really understand why those leaning conservative are upset.

  453. By Guest on Mar 17, 2012 | Reply

@Pace 1. How on earth does any of this equate to racism?! Why is it liberals automatically call criticism of a black person racism?! You all seem to forget the man is only 1/2 black. Criticism of the job he is doing and his background has nothing to do with race. Anything having to do with race always comes from him.

    2. Nuclear is often mispronounced by the average person – Corps man is not. The whole issue with that was as commander in chief he should know the titles of those who ‘report’ to him. Also, it just made it that more evident that he was just reading a speech from the teleprompter instead of speaking his own words from knowledge. They call it inept!

Kevin T – you are right, everything about this article is available and common knowledge of those who actually pay attention so no one needs to prove them… If someone thinks they are wrong, quit complaining and prove they are wrong. All they do is keep commenting ‘prove it’ – that doesn’t work here.

Guest: All they do is keep commenting ‘prove it’ – that doesn’t work here.

Me: I guess “here” is different from everywhere else on the net, where the burden of proving a statement falls on person who made it.

  455. By Guest on Mar 18, 2012 | Reply

Maybe if you got your head out of the sand, Pace. Everything is out there for all to know, if you want to know. You people who just keep saying ‘prove it’ are either ignorant or just trying to distract from the truth – the truth that is already out there and common knowledge. No one has to prove anything ‘here’ because, as I said, it’s already proven. If you think there’s an error then state what is in error and substantiate it. But no, no one does because they can’t so they just keep saying ‘prove it’.

Kevin, with regards to item 31 of your list of questions, it appears that not only were those documents proven fraudulent, but the REAL documents have now actually been uncovered and brought to light, such as his actual birth certificate from Mumbai, Kenya …. and the government of Kenya has indeed certified them as genuine, authentic. There is also documentation as to exactly how it all came to pass and why it happened the way it did. Yes, his MOTHER was a citizen of Hawaii, but his father was NOT a citizen. Also, the research also uncovered exactly how there came to be a “Certificate of Birth” from Hawaii ….. it was in fact obtained AFTER he was born in Kenya, and his mother then went to Hawaii and requested the certificate. He was NOT born in the USA, and his father was NOT a citizen of this country. This man is NOT QUALIFIED by law to be our President. He is easily certifiable as an enemy of our country and is using his position to destroy this country from within, and our main stream media is complicit. The liberals do NOT want this to be exposed any more than Mr. Obama does, because they lose their ability to give away our children’s future.
It is now VERY EASY to find source documentation on this …….

  457. By John Taylor on Mar 19, 2012 | Reply

Sorry, I misquoted the city as Mumbai ….
The birth certificate is from Coast Province General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya.
The documents were certified, and also testified to by the registrar in Kenya. There IS a source for the documents:
Source(s): Kenya Dominion Record 4667 Australian library.”

Holy whatever, but this is one of the stupidest things I have ever read in my life. First, what the heck is a foregone fact? Second, the Austrian language is German. (Ya know, how the American language is English (not even official) and the Canadian languages are English and French.) But, really–that is beside the point? A great deal of this is not even close to being fact, and the rest of it is just like–seriously? Gas fuel? THAT is your concern? There are things I read that make my jaw drop with the complete and utter hatred and ignorance in this country, and well, this is one of them.

So what’s fair about me working my single mother but off to provide insurance for my kids, that I pay for, while the drug dealer down the street can get free insurance for their 7 kids, and probably makes 3 times as much as I do, by doing something illegal? I don’t want a handout, I want to earn everything I receive. Btw not a dem, not a republican.

The National Debt has now gone up $4.939 trillion since the narcissist Marxist president took office in ’09, in just 3 years 2 months, not even the full term. The latest posting from the Bureau of Public Debt at the Treasury Department shows the National Debt now stands at $15.566 and rising. The BHO budget shows the Debt hitting $16.3 trillion in 2012, $17.5 trillion in 2013 and $25.9 trillion in 2022!!! Never does BHO mention Obamascare or the Deficit in his re-election taxpayer funded 747 trips all around the country, wonder why! Vote GOP in 2012!!!
